Position Description

The Director of Networking and Infrastructure will oversee all networking services (internet, telecom, and TV) across the organization. They will also manage key components of the companies SAP infrastructure including BASIS and DBA support. In addition, they will be responsible for the companys strategy around data security and PCI compliance.

This role will have 5 direct reports and will report directly into the Vice President of IT.

Essential responsibilities will include:

Network Administration
Oversee relationship with managed service providers.
Make future network design decisions.
Survey performance needs and goals of network users.
Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of hardware installation.
Manage three resources providing Level 2 and 3 support to our restaurants / corporate offices and one resource managing telecom and TV services.

Information Systems Security
Develop and monitor appropriate security procedures to safeguard system from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
Responsible for development and maintenance of Disaster Recovery plan.
Oversee PCI Compliance.
Ultimately responsible for network backup systems and off-site storage.

SAP BASIS and Security
Manage relationship with SAP BASIS partners.
Oversee internal BASIS resource tasked with maintaining security profiles and day-to-day interactions with BASIS partner.

Database Administrator
Administers and controls the activities related to data planning and helps to establish the policies and procedures related to its management, security maintenance and utilization.
Oversee DBA and hosting partners.

Email Administrator
Develops and supports the company-wide messaging system and data-sharing platforms.

Pager Rotation Duty
24 x 7 pager duty for two week increments.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in the areas of information technology / systems, engineering or business.
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
10+ years experience with LAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems, topologies ( Ethernet) and protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX), and Wide Area Networking.
Experience managing networking services across a broad network of locations and partnering with various managed service partners.
Strong knowledge on information security and key processes / procedures to help manage risk associated with data loss and cyber threats.
Prior experience with BASIS and DBA support.
High degree of business maturity and ability to lead a team of individual contributors.
High energy and enthusiasm, integrity, superior communication skills (both verbal and written), resilience, service orientation, and a collaborative influence style.
